Our Company

Minzze GmbH is based in Trier, Germany and is run by Erik and Michelle Kasper. We are a small team specialising in online shops, sustainable products for the family and niche products.

The company was founded by Michelle in 2012 when she was a stay-at-home-Mum with a toddler. A few months earlier she discovered modern reusable nappies in her homeland of New Zealand, and she was excited to bring these products to the German market. The online shop StoffyWelt.de rapidly grew and after the birth of their second child, the company moved from being a home business to needing a small warehouse and office space. A couple of years later the company opened a brick-and-mortar store specialised in natural products for the family and opened a second online shop called Natürlich Familie.

In early 2024, Michelle and Erik started Speed Puzzle Europe and offered the first Euro Jigsaw Jam online speed puzzling competition in April.

Livestream Co-Hosts

Michelle Kasper

Michelle discovered speed puzzling in January 2024 and developed the Euro Jigsaw Jam (EJJ) online speed puzzling contest platform together with her husband Erik, with the support of their small team in Trier, Germany. Michelle began commentating on EJJ #1 when she had no idea what she was doing. She has now commentated over 100 EJJ livestreams. Luckily she was assisted from #11 onwards by co-hosts from the community who each add their own personality, energy and perspective to the livestream.

From 2026 onwards, Michelle will be commentating less as she focusses on coordinating the behind the scenes work to keep the livestreams running smoothly. Michelle was co-anchor of the livestream at the World Jigsaw Puzzle Championship in Vallodolid in 2025 together with Jim Eakins, and co-hosted the German Nationals. She represented her home country of New Zealand at the 2024 and 2025 World Championships.

Fruzsina (Fruzsi) Wilheim

Fruzsi is a multitalent in the speed puzzling space and not one to sit still. She has co-hosted more than 20 EJJ livestreams and been the host of the first European Jigsaw Puzzle Championship (EJPC) in her hometown, Budapest, Hungary. When she is not travelling around Europe to attend puzzle competitions, she can be found crafting puzzle jewelry, filming puzzle-related Youtube content, organising events, writing a blog and keeping her finger on the pulse of the community.

Fruzsi has done online and in-person co-hosting segments at the World Jigsaw Puzzle Championship, the German Nationals, the Portland Jigsaw Masters and the Köditz Solo Marathon. She has organised a local puzzling event where she lives in Siegen, Germany, which will also be repeated in 2026, as well as organising the Puzzathon Trier event together with Michelle Kasper.

Catherine has attended the World Jigsaw Puzzle Championship in 2023 and 2024, as well as speed puzzling events in Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. She organises local meetups in Maastricht, the Netherlands. She has been instrumental in establishing a Luxembourgish puzzle community and being part of the first Luxembourgish team at the World Championship.

Catherine participates regularly in the online social speed puzzling event “the Puzzle Tussle” on Instagram. She has co-hosted more than 20 EJJ livestreams and also co-hosted the Belgium Nationals. Her latest project is “Puzzle Besties”, a new puzzle rental and events company, which will use original, never before seen puzzles for its events. She was nominated for the Community Builder Award in the 2025 Puzzle Culture Awards.

Daniela Berendsen

Daniela brings her skills of networking and project management to the puzzling community, and has contributed significantly to the establishment of the Dutch Jigsaw Puzzle Association and the European Committee for Jigsaw Puzzling (ECJP). Daniela originally hails from Venezuela, but has lived in the Netherlands for more than a decade. She is fluent in Spanish, English and Dutch. She helped organise the first National Championship in the Netherlands in 2025, as well as coordinate the Guinness World Record Attempt with a 40,320 piece Ravensburger puzzle in Vallodolid, Spain.

In early 2025 she spearheaded the effort behind a worldwide celebration of International Puzzle Day, and united more than 20 national associations in organised social puzzling events. Daniela is a strong advocate of #socialpuzzling because, as she says, "it's more than connecting pieces. It's about getting energized by linking with people who share the same passion".

Our puzzle brand

During 2025 it became clear that in order to supplement the supply of 500-piece speed puzzles that were currently available on the market, we would need to launch our own brand of puzzles for use in our Euro Jigsaw Jam competitions.

The Speed Puzzle brand uses images from our own resources, as well as those from stock libraries and the public domain.

Our first puzzle under the Speedpuzzle.eu brand was “Mood Board” and was used in EJJ #92 on September 8th 2025. It was designed with the ambitious goal of being the “fastest speed puzzle in the world”.

In 2025 we offered the opportunity for EJJ participants and members from the community to submit artwork for use on a puzzle. Our first participant-produced image “Bottled Biomes” was designed by Wies van Keulen from the Netherlands and was launched on the livestream of EJJ #103 on November 19th. This image was loved by the participants and viewers alike. The fastest time record was broken by Krystian Niedzela from Poland with a mere 24:13.

Other images from EJJ participants include “Amber Fox” by Carla Agostinho from Portugal and “What a Colourful World” by Jessica Henderson from the United States.

Many more unreleased puzzles from the Speedpuzzle.eu brand will be used in upcoming competitions. We are excited about what the future holds and to further highlight artwork and photography from our puzzle community, as well as increase the catalogue of 500 piece puzzles designed with speed puzzlers in mind.

We also offer 99 piece mini puzzles, hoodies and tote bags under our brand.
